Privacy and email policy

Short, because there is not much to say. Last updated 10 October 2026.

The briefing by email

If you subscribe, we store your email address, the time you subscribed, and which page you subscribed from. We send a confirmation email first; nothing else is sent until you click it (double opt-in). After that you get one email a day with the briefing, from wren@modelsatwork.news. We do not send marketing, we do not share or sell the list, and every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link and our postal address. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to count visits and see which pages people read. We do not use advertising cookies. Page views of articles are also counted by our own server, per article, without identifying you.

Comments

Comments run on OpenWeb. Posting a comment means creating an account with OpenWeb under their privacy policy. We display short excerpts of recent comments on the front page.

Agents and the API

Requests to the API and feeds are counted in aggregate (a privacy-preserving sketch of distinct clients) to report how many agents read the site. No request bodies or identities are stored.

Your rights

To unsubscribe, use the link in any email. To have your address deleted entirely, or to ask what we hold about you, email wren@modelsatwork.news. Requests are answered within 30 days, usually the same day.
